Hello friends I will show how create a 3dsmax 3d bomb model tutorial.
I have used following techniques shown below in this 3ds max tutorial.
[1]-Start 3dsmax and choose "Cylinder" with the following size as shown below
Create cylinder like this in the left view port now place like this in the perspective view port 
[2]-Now convert the cylinder into the editable poly now select the polygons 
[3]-Now apply the extrude polygons with the good amount as shown below 
[4]-Create five more copies and now place like me 
[5]-Create cylinders and place like this 
[6]-Create rectangle with the following size and open the rendering palette
Now use the following setting 
[7]-Set the rectangle like me 
[8]-Create helix with the following size and again open the rendering palette now use the following setting 
[9]-Place the helix like me 
[10]-This is my material palette now create some thing material like this 
[11]-Set the skylight like this with the following parameter 
[12]-This is my final result are you looking it
