Hello guys I will show how create a 3dsmax 3d barbed wire model tutorial.
I have used following techniques shown below in this 3ds max tutorial.

[1]-Click on the Cylinder button and create two cylinders with the following size  
    Place like me

[2]-Apply the twist modifier with the good following amount as swon below

[3]-Your cylinders should like this

[4]-Apply the turbo smooth modifier with the iteration amount of 1.0

[5]-Simply your object shoul like this

[6]-Create helix with the following size and open the rendering plaette
     Now use the following setting and place the helix like me

[7]-Use the same redering palette setting and then create line like me

[8]-Create more lines and place like this

[9]-Create two more copy and place like me

[10]-Switch to the line and convert into the editable poly now select the vertexes
       Then sharp the corner like me

[11]-This is my material and assign to the whole object

[12]-Set the skylight like this with the following parameter
